The antique & collectible market is hot. And, for whatever the reason, nostalgia or just getting your green on, the fact is, collectors are back at it. What could this mean to you? How about a way to earn few extra bucks or simply converting to cash, some of those lost treasures hiding your closet, attic, or basement? My hope is today’s list just might inspire. And just maybe, launch a new career…. buying and reselling on the secondary market.

Guitar Pedals
Just like musical instruments, their parts and accessories can have some serious resale value. And nothing illustrates that like vintage guitar effect pedals.
An original Electro Harmonics 1973 Big Muff Fuzz Pedal can fetch over $1000, a Boss CE-1 Chorus, $650 and an Ibanez Original Tube Screamer from the early 80s, an easy $800. These things are out there.
Fishing Lures
Here’s one that always shocks people. How about a Florida Shiner for $735? Or $1700 for a "Spook Bait" and if you think that’s crazy, this Early Heddon 700 Musky Minnow 5 Hook just did over $4000 at that was all on eBay in the last 90 days. Go Fish!
Bicycles
Its true, and I am not talking antique, but your old 60s or 70s Cruiser hand me down. This 1970 Schwinn Lemon Peeler just brought $1000 and This Peak Picker or Green Krate as they are known, $2750 but find an oddball like this Cygnet Pneumatic Bicycle and you might just have an extra $20,000 coming your way.
Vacuum Tubes
Did you know those old radio tubes up in the attic might just be worth something? You have to know which ones to look for, but you know how I love to illustrate a point. Here’s 4 GE 6L6GC Tubes that just brought $400. How about $875 for some EL34s? Or, $2150 for a pair of 12AX7s ! Tube’s dude…. tubes!
Auto Parts
And I mean both junkyard stuff and New Old Stock.
How about a Ford Windshield Washer Switch for $500? $2500 for 4 Corvette Hubcaps, or $1000 for a pair of headlight lenses.
Now car parts might not be your bag but making a few thousand dollars by googling a few car parts might just come in handy one day.
