It's been a while since I laid down some useless fact tracks...so why not today? Here's 13 Totally Random Useless Facts of Knowledge & if you like this sort of stuff....i got tons of them for you. I have them in Video Format or just check out the (FUN FACTS) Section of my website. But just to be safe, I must issue this disclaimer. I believe everything I am about to type is true, but it may not be...but I thinks so... so here they are...
13 Totally Random Useless Facts of Knowledge
#1 A Brannock is the Device Used to measure your feet at a shoe store. A nose is an organ used to smell your feet, in private...
#2 The dot over a lower case "i" or "j" is called a Tittle, but The Devil in most Charlie Daniels songs plays a Fiddle.
#3 The Glabella is the official name for the space between your eyebrows. So a Non Glabella Homo Homo Sapien is just a dude with a uni-brow...
#4 There is no such thing as a female Peacock...they are Peahens.
I am serious...
#5 Slugs have 4 noses.
And I have ten toes-es.
#6 A tarantula can survive more than two years without food. Because they needed to be creepier.
#7 We share 70% of our DNA with a slug & 98.4% of our DNA with a chimp.
So think about when they say, we have a partial DNA match at your murder trial....did the slug do it?
#8 Nomophobia is the fear of not having a mobile phone. My wife suffers from this disorder. Is there a charity for it?
#9 Bubble wrap was originally intended to be wallpaper. This one is seriously fun...In 1957 its inventors thought wallpaper would be its best use. Now I am sure Walls would have been much safer to run in to...that is for sure, but it was not until 1960 (3 years later) when it usefulness as a shipping staple was discovered.
#10 There is a species of jellyfish that never dies. I don't know how I feel about that.
#11 Lemurs get high on bugs. Apparently there is a particular species of millipede that causes them to get a buzz when they munch on them. Its why they look all bugged out all the time.
#12 Disney is the Second-Largest Buyer of Explosives in the World...seriously. Of course our military is number 1, gotta have the most boom booms...but wouldn't you think someone else would be number 2...what is that mouse up too? Tons of fireworks displays. What a fun fact.
#13 We landed on the moon before we put wheels on Luggage. It was not until almost 1970 when the first wheels were put on luggage. That is one of those things I just never understood, but should also inspire you. The most profitable inventions, seem obvious now, but where those things right under our nose. I find #13 inspiring and I hope you did too....
